Instagram has invested a lot in to their machine learning and AI algorithms to identify accounts who use automated software and bots which perform unethical actions. According to Instagram “Starting today, we will begin asking people to confirm who’s behind an account when we see a pattern of potential inauthentic behavior”
What does this mean for Influencers?
if you’re an Influencer and perform automation via software or the use of bots, or third party services which do, we recommend that you steer away. The best method of growth and management is doing it manually. Your account will be safe allowing you to sleep well at night knowing that you’re not at risk with potentially losing your Instagram account and years of hard work.
“If an account chooses not to confirm their information, their content may receive reduced distribution, or the account may be disabled”. We don’t want you getting this far, as you will now be red flagged and monitored.
